Customer Reviews

Fantastic course. Your instructors have great rapport with the group and were dynamic in their teaching. They paced the days very well and I could definitely not absorb any more knowledge. Although only 3 days, the experience was epic. Huge highs followed devastating lows. A great adventure.

Despite the rain and the cold, everyone had a great time in the field. The extra night in the field was particularly helpful. Highly recommended.

5 day survival course. A very good course, I arrived there with loads of gear, sleeping bag, bivi bag, tarp, cooking gear, espresso machine :)),and by the 4th day I end up using NONE of this, only my water bottle, my knife and my fire steel. I learn really what I need to survive, how to manage my resources and a lot of good stuff. Good job Trueways. Thanks guys.

Hi Trueways, Attended the Cumbrian 3-day survival course on the 16/07/2010, the typical British weather didn't disappoint, testing the shelters we built to the limit. Learnt a surprising amount in such a short period of time and gave me the confidence to tackle the wilderness myself. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank our course instructors who made the weekend very enjoyable. I'll be sure to return on another extended course and may bring a few friends along with me. Regards, Thomas Carson
