On the course page that you want to book, tick the date & location that suits you, fill in the box with the name of the person attending the course, then click add to basket, if you want to book more than one place, do the same but with a different name in the person attending the course box.
Once we receive your order, we will email you an order confirmation, then normally within 24 hours we will physically book you onto that course and email you the location details and kit list
Most courses the minimum age is 18
However the young survivors course is designed for 7-11 year olds and the Teen survivors is for 12-17 year olds.
The kit list is desinged for safety, you can hire some it from us, the remainder you can get cheap from most outdoor stores. There is no need to spend a lot of money on the kit.
All Trueways Survival Courses start at 10am on the first day, we ask you to be at the meeting point between 9.30am-9.45am. Most courses finish at 4pm on the last day, this can be influenced by the skills of the people on the course or the weather, sometimes we may finish slightly earlier or slightly later, but we will aim for 4pm.
Unlike other Survival Schools when our courses say 3 days, they are 3 days, beware of schools that start at 5pm or 7pm on the first day and finish at 10am on the last day. Our courses are full days.
Yes, every attendee gets a certificate, please be aware that when you book the course, the name that you put as the course attendee will be the name on the certificate.
Attendee's of the Trueways 5 Day Basic to Advanced course also get an assesment of their skills.
Yes you can, as long as you let us know before the course starts we will provide you with food that suits your dietary requirements.
If the course is bookable on the website then we still have spaces, once a course is fully booked it is removed from the website.
The Trueways Survival Course gift pack will contain a course voucher, a Morakniv Survival Knife and a Viper Survival Tin
Once you receive the gift pack, check the voucher which will have our bookings website details on, go to that site, enter the voucher SaleID & Voucher Code and the screen will display all the courses that the voucher is valid for, then click "Book this course", next to the course date & location you require.
It's a very simple process that should take no longer than 5 minutes, however we are more than happy to book the course for you over the phone.
If you purchased a Trueways Survival Course gift pack for a Woodland based course and you want to change to a different type of course just call 0800 043 0832 and we can change it. We don't charge for this, we can also change course types for any voucher. If you want to extend the number of days purchased then the cost would be the difference in the price.
For example - you bought a 2 day woodland course voucher, the recipient would prefer to do a 3 day coastal, the voucher change is free, but they would need to buy the extra day, which would be the difference in cost of the courses (not the gift pack).
The Trueways Survival Course gift pack voucher is valid for 12 months from the date we post it out, however it only needs to be booked within the 12 months, as we usually try to get course dates on the site 12 months in advance this effectively mean you would have 24 months to do your course.
Vouchers can be extened at our discretion you would need to call us on 0800 043 0843 , there may be a small admin charge for this.
We accept Visa, Paypal & Mastercard over the website, if you would like to pay via bank transfer we can arrange this.
All orders are processed within 24 hours, you will recieve a confirmation of your order immediately, then within 24 hours you will receive an email from us to say we have booked you onto the course, this email will include the location details and the kit list.
If you don't received the confirmation email within a couple of minutes of placing your order then we have not received your order and payment has not been taken, if you are in any doubt please call us on 0800 043 0832
Our payment processing is carried out by a secure gateway, the information is passed encrypted, payment is validated and then the information is deleted. We do not store any card numbers on our servers or anywhere else. We do store details of your order, which once processed is archived, you can request details of all information we have about you at any time, there is a small admin charge for this.
Our website is 100% secure, we use a https server using 128-bit encryption to process payment, once payment has been processed we don't keep any of your payment information except the delivery address. We are also PCI compliant using Trustwave - see the green logo at the bottom of the screen.
